This body of work God Changes & so do You (2019) was one of three bodies of work created during my Diploma of Photomedia and Billy Blue. 

Artist Statement:

'God changes & so do You' explores perceptions of religion, faith and how both change throughout people’s lives. In his latest album, the artist Kanye West stated the notion that God doesn't have to exist inside the four walls of a church, you could see God or religion in the world around you. I'm not a religious person but I was very interested in this concept of embodying faith in something other than the traditions of the past. Here I ask viewers if these clouds stir anything for them and what the concepts of faith, religion and God mean for them as to look back if possible and see how that has changed over their lifetime just like the clouds are always changing.
